6 Secrets to Achieving an Awake Look

Although it’s normal for most of us to feel tired, there’s nothing worse than hearing the words “You look tired”. Thankfully, there are a myriad of products and hacks that can help combat the telltale signs of red eyes, puffy skin, and that overall lackluster feeling you have when you stayed up a little too late (yes Netflix, we’re *still* watching)! Here are a few of our favorites:

1. Get Glowing

Stay away from mattifying products and add a little life to your visage with some highlighter. Look for a liquid formula, and mix in with your moisturizer, SPF or foundation for a little extra glow.

A dead giveaway for tiredness? Dull, washed out skin. Add a pop of color to the apples of your cheeks and no one will be the wiser!

4. Bring the Drama

Tired eyes? Add a little drama with a few coats of mascara, like our Double-Ended Volume Set. The Indigo Blue Primer brings out the white in your eyes, while the Volumizing Mascara adds definition and extreme volume. Don’t forget to curl your lashes for an extra-awake look, too!

5. Conceal It

Concealer is always a girl’s best friend, but especially the girls who are extra tired. Choose one that’s 1-2 shades lighter than your complexion and apply from the inside of your eye towards the temples. This will give your face a bright, lifted look.

6. Get Bold

We’re obviously big brow fans around here and are strong believers in the motto “good brow days should be every day”. Even if you are exhausted, taking the extra time to add a few swipes of tinted (or clear) brow gel to your arches can add that extra oomph to make you look (and feel) more awake and pulled together.
